Home Buyer's Inspection
In both new and older homes, the best way to ensure that you are well informed about the strengths and weaknesses of a property is to have us give you a professional home inspection. We are trained to identify problem areas, both small and large, that may have been overlooked by the previous owners. We identify which problems require immediate attention.
Foreclosure Inspection or Summary Inspection
If you are buying a foreclosed home, or if you want a house checked out before making an offer, then this is the inspection for you. It takes about an hour and costs half of a regular inspection. This type of inspection is perfect for investors; it is not recommended for first-time buyers. We inspect all major items, including:
- Heat & AC
- Major Hazards
- Roof & Foundation
- Electric & Plumbing
- Life Expectancies of Systems & Appliances
There could be unknown problems and potential environmental hazards in your current home or the one you want to purchase. Our job as your professional home inspector is to alert you to the extent of possible problems. We provide a non-invasive visual inspection of your property to alert you to problems that may be costly. We inspect for the following hazards:
Mold — There are many types of mold, and none of them can grow without water or moisture. Molds can produce allergens, irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances. See our FAQ page about mold.
Radon — Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas found in soils, rock, and water throughout the United States. Radon is a threat to your health because it tends to collect in homes, sometimes in very high concentrations.
Termites & Other Wood-Destroying Organisms — These pests cause serious damage to wooden structures and posts. They can also attack stored food, household furniture, and books.
